Please join us on Thursday, May 19 for the Priory's First Alfresco Wine Party of 2022!
This very special Wine Party will feature a delicious variety of wines and will held in our beautiful outdoor garden courtyard (weather permitting) on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Our wine party will be hosted by Deb Mortillaro of Palate Partners/Dreadnought Wines/Soiree Partners. And, here is the wine list and tasting notes:
Grape Abduction White - Štajerska, Slovenia
Pinot Blanc, Yellow Muscat - A bright and refreshing nose with aromas of white flowers, citrus, white peach, and lychee. On the palate, the wine is crisp and vibrant.
Grape Abduction Orange - Štajerska, Slovenia
Pinot Blanc, Pinot Grigio, and Riesling - Golden apple and quince, like a freshly baked pie at grandma's house; Round and lush like sliced fresh apples slightly drizzled in honey and dredged in sea salt, with a fresh mineral finish.
Gonc Gamay - Podravje, Slovenia
100% Gamay - Bright ruby hue, great extraction and concentration, with aromas of bright cherry, raspberries, and dark spices. On the pallet the wine is juicy, round, spicy, and harmonious with a long, lingering finish. An amazing expression of Gamay!
Gonc Blaufrankish - Štajerska, Slovenia
Blaufrankisch - Spicy, slightly rugged tannins support ripe blueberries and sultry blackberries with a hint of middle eastern spices and a distinct blue floral prettiness. Ideal with pizza, braised beef dishes, mild Indian curries, butter poached salmon, and aged cheeses, but quite a marvel tasted on its own.
Every one of the four wines that you'll enjoy will be paired with a delicious small plate (and one dessert) from our award winning chefs Chefs Pete Phillipy and Mike Henney. In addition to a magical atmosphere you will be entertained by Donna O.

Tickets are $75 per person plus processing fees and are not refundable.
If weather does not permit holding our event outside, we will convene in our Grand Hall!
